StepBridge is steadily growing. There are 643 Australian members of the only Australian based
Internet Bridge Club. The total number of members is momentarily 850.

Since the beginning of this year StepBridge is organizing tournaments on Sunday afternoons and
Thursday night. There is a great interest in these events. On popular demand we decided to add
more tournaments.

From now on the will be held on:

Tuesday and Thursday at 9.00 pm EST (8.30 CST, 6.00 pm WST)

Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 4.30 pm EST (4.00 CST, 1.30 WST).

These times should also be suitable for our 40 members from WA.

Each tournament will have a monthly winner who will get a free neat StepBridge gadget.

The schedule for the next tournaments can be found on the welcome page when you open the
StepBridge software (the StepExplorer). Because of the Congress in Surfers Paradise there will
be no tournament on Saturday 18th, Sunday 19th, Tuesday 21th and Wednesday 22th.
But you are of course free to log on and play some boards. We recommend to enter at around
8.00-8.30 pm EST.

To register for a tournament simply open the program.

You'll see the Tables Window

(if you have 'lost' that window, press the F6 button or Menu -> View -> Tables)

You will see a listing of the upcoming events.

Chose the one you want to play, click on the Info button (at the bottom of the Tables screen)
and click on Register

That's all.

You can register at any time, just be sure to be in the Tournament lobby not later than five minutes
before the start.

If it is a Pairs tournament you do not need to have a partner. The software will match you with a
partner five minutes before the start.
