Jacoby Transfers (holding 5♠/5♥)

NB: With interference, transfers are still “on”!
Use “X” as “They stole my bid”

1. Partner opens/overcalls 1 NT  (15-18)
2. You hold 5♥ or 5♠ so you want partner to bid one of these suits! (with 6+ in a major suit è see Texas Transfers)
3. To transfer bid the suit “just below”(2♦è2♥) (2♥è2♠)
4. If you have bid 2♦ then partner (who opened 1NT) will re-bid 2♥     If you have bid 2♥ then partner (who opened 1NT) will re-bid 2♠
5.	With a balanced hand you now seek the final level as follows:
	18+ HCP ► Bid 5NT (partner decides on 6NT/6♥/6♠)
	16-17 HCP ► Bid 4NT (partner bids 6NT/6♥/6♠ with max HCP)
	10-15 HCP ► Bid 3NT (partner may raise to 4♥/♠)
	8-9 HCP ► Bid 2NT (partner may raise to 3NT/4♥/4♠)
	0-7 HCP ►  Pass (Partnership probably holds less than 25TP)
6.	With UN-balanced hand seek the final level as follows:
	18+ HCP ► Bid 5NT (partner decides on 6NT/6♥/6♠)
	16-17 HCP ► Bid 4NT (partner bids 6NT/6♥/6♠ with max HCP)
	10-15 HCP ► With a second 5 card suit bid that suit (game force)
	8-9 HCP ► Bid 2NT (partner may raise to 3NT/4♥/4♠ if appropriate)
	0-7 HCP ►  Pass (Partnership almost always holds less than 25TP)
