Cappelletti - Defense over 1NT

1. Opposition open 1NT (strong or weak)
2. Your partner holds 9-14 HCP and overcalls one of the following:
Double : for penalties	Go to 3
2 ♣  : a long suit of 6 or more cards in any suit	Go to 4
2 ♦   : holds 5+ and 4+ in both majors	Go to 5
2 ♥   : holds ♥  and a minor (5+ in one and 4+ in other)	Go to 6
2 ♠   : holds ♠  and a minor (5+ in one and 4+ in other)	Go to 6
2 NT: holds 5+ ♣  and 5+ ♦	Go to 7

3.  Overcall was "X":Usually pass (especially if weak and balanced)
                                  If weak with a 5+ suit may remove double

4.  Overcall was 2♣ :Pass if you hold 6+ ♣
                                  Bid 2♦ to ask for partners long suit
                                  Bid 2♠ or 2♥ with a good 5+ major suit of your own
                                  Bid 2NT with 11+ HCP, balanced hand (Game on?)

5.  Overcall was 2♦ : Pass with 6+ ♦ and no major fit
                                  Bid 2♠ or 2♥ with fit and cannot see game
                                  Bid 3♠ or 3♥ with a fit,inviting game (see if 12+)

6.  Overcall was 2♥ : Pass if major bid is OK and no prospect of game
                       or 2♠   Bid 3♠ or 3♥ with a fit, inviting game (see if  12+)
                                  Bid 2NT = "Which minor?" (if holding minors)

7.  Overcall was 2NT: Note that partner should have 12-14 HCP for this
                                    Treat just like Unusual 2NT Bid (See Cheat Sheet)
